We have acted in property sales and purchases for our private and corporate clients as well as in matters affecting landlords and tenants.
We offer an extensive service to real estate developers with projects from inception to the actual sale to third parties. Our conveyancing team has undertaken legl advisory work for large residential and commercial developments, representing the developers, financier’s and vendors, obtaining the required development approvals, conducting financial and corporate due diligence, preparing the requisite title documentation, obtaining the registration of title documents and bringing the developments and sales to a speedy and favourable conclusion for all parties involved.
The Firm has undertaken the following legal assignments, in this practice area, among others, in the last few years:
- Provision of legal advisory services to realize titles for the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority’s (KEMSA) properties across Kenya and review KEMSA’s land acquisition policy.
- Representing National Housing Corporation in the sale of Madaraka Estate in Nairobi and providing core legal advisory services to negotiate, prepare and procure title documentation in favour of the respective purchasers.
- Representing Cytonn Investments Ltd in a land purchase valued at KES 1.26 Billion and providing core legal advisory services to negotiate, prepare and procure title documentation in favour of our Client.
