The Firm has undertaken the following legal assignments, in this practice area, among others, in the last few years:
- Provision of transaction advisory services to the Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government, in relation to the legal, financial and technical aspects of a housing project for the Kenya police and prisons services under the public-private partnership model at project cost of KES 34 Billion.
- Provision of legal advisory services to the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF), with a mandate to review all contracts between the public insurer and the medical service providers on their panel, to ensure that NHIF’s interests are protected.
- Provision of legal advisory services to Kibwezi Sunpower Kenya Limited in a solar power project. Representing the Client throughout the entire project process. Services include but are not limited to; Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Registration, Acquisition of Land by Purchase or Lease, Facilitating approval of EOI’s, Procuring Statutory Approvals and Licenses, Preparing and perfecting Power Purchase Agreements, Facilitating Change of User Applications and Development permissions.
